Alfred Dunhill DUDPZXMAS2024 Christmas Pipe 2024 This Christmas pipe continues the 7-year theme and series ‘The Happy Prince, which began in 2023 and will end in 2029. It is based on the characters of the (children’s) book ‘The Happy Prince and Other Tales’ written in 1888 by the Irish poet, playwright and author OscarWilde (Oscar Fingal O'Fflahertie Wills Wilde) (born 16 October 1854 in Dublin/Ireland, died 30 November 1900 in Paris/France). This being the 2nd pipe in the series, it depicts The Swallow on the Reed. The pipe is a classic group 4 Bent Dublin pipe (4114) in Shell Briar finish with contrasting semi-Easyloader rim. It features an engraved, Sterling Silver band. The impressive pipe tamper is 65 mm long and crafted from solid Sterling Silver. It depicts in great detail the Swallow settling on the Reeds. The highly collectable White Spot Christmas pipes and tampers are presented in a leather-bound book in elegant cream marble design. Each set is accompanied by its numbered limited-edition certificate. This edition series is strictly limited to annually only 300 pipes worldwide.
